How We Can Help?
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing, or has experienced, physical, emotional or sexual violence in the home, we can give you support, help and information.
Support Worker
Your support worker can provide a listening ear over the phone or face to face. They will take the lead from you, they won’t judge you, blame you, tell you what to do or pressure you to take action.
Your support worker can inform you of your options and support your decision.
Ways in which your support worker can help you:
- Access to a safe place to stay or help in planning a move
- Individual safety planning and personal alarms
- Support to understand criminal and police processes
- Help with family law issues such a child contact and going to court
- Referral to other specialist agencies to help with issues such as debt, housing law and substance misuse
- Liaison with other agencies e.g. police, social services, housing and court service
